I wrote to the festival about 6 months ago when I saw the line-up, practically screaming to look at who they were hosting, and gave good reasons as to why I thought they were WRONG and sending anyone who had a brain, the wrong message about the festival. Ha Ha, no surprise that they never wrote back. And THANK YOU for all that you do so brilliantly.
Too bad the funds to attend can't be crowd-sourced and then a group of protesters shows up with signs written all over with all of your findings. What about staging a protest just outside of the event and invite press from all over...Just trying to brainstorm.
The more I read your stuff and the greater I read between the lines the more I see your PTSD. I don't know exactly if it was a "what" or a series of "whats", but like a lot of my combat friends you have a fire in your belly that comes from seeing stuff that has changed you. Living with that fire isn't easy because dots need to be connected and is sleep gets sacrificed to connect those dots, so be it. The rot isn't just in one area of government or one location, but it is throughout society. God Bless you as you continue to dig and expose what you can. My prayer is that you are protected and given wisdom as you continue to connect the dots.
I want to keep reading what you write (and I will, so do what suits you) but I’m really put off by the use of the “f” word. I understand the anger and justification for its use, but in a scholarly essay it diminishes the credibility. It’s also a distraction, and, really, I think what you write can stand alone without the foul - however justified - language.
