Ask a Fox News viewer what they think of the media, and they’ll say it’s biased, manipulative, and out to destroy America. Ask an MSNBC loyalist? Same answer—different villain.
What both sides have in common is this: They don’t trust “the media.” Except, of course, for their media.
And you know what? They’re not wrong.
We’re not living through a war of opinions. We’re living through the aftermath of a weaponized media collapse, in which the most powerful corporations on Earth are using cult psychology techniques—not to inform us, but to train us into lifelong brand loyalty based on fear and rage.
Because here’s the ugly truth no anchor will say on air: They don’t care if they’re destroying your family, your neighborhood, your country, or your brain. (And, guess what? They are.) They care about retention.
They care about eyeballs. And every time you lose a loved one to the fog of outrage, the massive sociopathic media conglomorates gain a more loyal customer.
So. How the hell do we fight back?
