And even if the program was paid by taxes, the increase of wages would generate a growth in taxes that would profit the whole state. That's exactly what taxes are for 🤔

What a dirtbag. I detest these horrid people that obviously hate humanity they feel they are above.

Now New Mexico needs to know where the tie is between Rodriguez and Zorro Ranch. Is this a GOP initiative started by the new owners of the ranch? How much of that trust fund will the owners of the ranch try to access to run their so-called “camp.“

And to be honest, a face like that, makes me think he is a predator. A danger.

I bet there are clues all over that lawsuit pointing us closer to our greedy little parasites and their minions. ‘But this money pot is for us to siphon while the children sleep..’ feels like those mafia cannibals again. The ones with the lined bulging pockets and, as you say, dead eyes. Hungry ghosts yes, takers of all and bringers of nothing, very unwell.

I think even the mafia had more honor than the GOP does now. The rules were clear. The GOP is total chaos, making it up as they go.

That Rodriguez is such a jerk! People need to shut him down and kick him to the curb…

It's as if the whole GOP agenda is to NOT help anyone but the wealthy elite. The other 90% are to be ignored, admonished, and left to suffer under the weight of constant debt, income insecurity, healthcare burdens, etc.

Editors note: I hope he doesn't think his heavily edited airbrushed headshot draws attention from his Dumbo ears.

This made me chuckle: “His earlier lawsuit sought to invalidate the governor’s line-item vetoes on a spending bill passed during a special session.” I’m old enough to remember Reagan & his administration bitching and crying for a line-item veto for the President (especially convenient when it’s an opposing party in Congress). Typical GOP: [insert power] for me but none for thee! I’m so sick of these people.

Makes me wonder if Duke Rodriguez is in the E files.

If it quacks like a duck...

Thank you for putting a spotlight on this. More states need to take care of the children. It is how we lift Americans out of poverty.

America has a cruelty problem.

There are too many sadists in positions of power. They enjoy torturing others, and their talent lies in mesmerizing their allies, enablers, and stupid sheeple.

Our challenge is to prevent them from institutionalizing such cruelty. These victimizers have to understand that the victims or their allies will fight back and that there are consequences for their cruelty.

Things that could harm hundreds of thousands of children, such as cutting childcare in this case, or abruptly cutting global U.S.A.I.D. health programs, or enabling genocide in Israel-Palestine, Ukraine, or elsewhere. Anyone doing these things is a sadist.

The Duke Rodriguez needs to face the consequences of his cruelty.

If you weren't such a good Journalist, I would say you should run for office. But we need you to write about it. New Mexico is lucky to have you.
