This book was just recommended to me, The Laundrymen by Jeffrey Robinson (1996), and lo and behold, I jumped out of my seat when I read this:
"Since independence in 1948, Israel has actively courted prominent people around the world who address themselves to selected sources of wealth in order to make their resources available when need arises."
"In 1960, the Israelis put together their so called "Group of 30" - an ad hoc brotherhood of two and half dozen American millionaires quietly united a common cause. The $40 million they donated helped pay for Israel's first nuclear reactor and the neighboring plutonium separation plant."
So the MEGA group of Wexner, Black, etc. was just an updated version of the 1960 group.
This was in the chapter (straight out of MI5), called Eli Pinkas: a Mystery Story, who was a Swiss citizen, living in Lausanne with his wife, whose profession was putting nitrous oxide in bottles to be shipped to the Pentagon. Because of the many countries he sold his nitrous oxide to, he had military clearance, which allowed him access to classified info. You think this is just about money laundering when the last three pages do a complete turnaround, with Eli secretly flying to Israel on weekends, and then both he and his (divorced wife), dead by suicide, when his money laundering scheme was discussed, by a Swiss auditor who when going over Eli's receipts from the Pentagon, the ink started to smear on his hand....that was how his house of cards collapsed!
So what we're seeing today in Epstein case, has history and tentacles....

I am still so disgusted every time I read about Epstein trying to manipulate his way into having the ability to do his vile sexual predation on girls without consequences and the obvious belief their type can do whatever they want. This story just keeps getting more and more sordid! It’s unbelievable what rich powerful men do to get their way. Ultimately, I want some peace for the survivors of Epstein’s abuse! Then- we go after the dirty politicians! Great reporting! GO GO GO!
And guess what? Elon Musk did this municipality operation himself in South Texas (Boca Chica) using his employees as citizens. They had to vote for it, because of their employment. Coercion of employees is a type of harassment and/or blackmail. Now the county is tasked with providing emergency services (like fire when rockets explode) to a municipality that has no services of its own. Granted, he didn't do it for identical reasons (or maybe he did,) but he's still the mayor. He still runs the town.

This reminds me of the town that was built for the families of the scientists who worked on the Manhattan Project.
