He’s like a preacher promising salvation while pocketing donations.

Well written food for thought. As a previous Evangelical, the story of the serpent, Adam, Eve in the bible is a lesson for all of us. While I no longer believe in the literal truth of these stories, the spiritual truths are timeless. The evil energy that morphed into that serpent was seemingly manageable to the "majority" at the time. But Eve was the one that was coerced to take a bite of the apple - because they then would be like God. Two people that had no idea of this seemingly harmless act, beneficial to them, of what they were forever unleashing into the universe - individual choice between doing/being part of the light; or not. When he (trump) recited the poem "The Serpent" at his rallies, he was eerily mocking his followers and the rest of us that allowed him to get to this point. Yes, I believe he knew/knows exactly what he was doing. Now, we are all suffering the grave consequences of our own choices to follow, ignore, or allow his truly black soul to continue creating hatred and chaos. And the Democratic Party who loves being "educated" is complicit in this as well. (NIV; Genesis 3: 1-24)

He’s not intelligent at all … but he’s extremely shrewd and entirely self-serving.

Absolutely irrefutable true. I smelled him when he was yelling 'you're fired'. And some say I have TDS, and i say 'of course i do! why don't you? Can't you see what is so obvious?'. I'm in Canada, i hate how much I hate him and his idiot followers. Its not healthy.

I live here in the US - Imagine your kind of hatred and TDS, along with feeling the responsibility on a daily basis to apologize to the rest of the world (even Iran). It is an endless cycle of regret.

Reduced to a SAT style simile, Trump is to the Democrats as Charles Manson is to the New Jalisco Cartel. In other words, an organized syndicate in control of virtually all institutions (msm, Hollywood, Wall Street, universities, public schools, government workers, foundations and endowments, organized religion-even the Pope!, not to mention the invisible NGO complex) is a far greater social danger than the worst sociopathic individual.

Finally someone who “gets it”. Trump isn’t stupid. He is doing exactly what he set out to do. He isn’t president to “Make America Great Again”, to the him the presidency is the greatest Grif of them all.

Good lord, are people still saying that a guy who won 2 presidential elections and now is wrecking the world is too "dumb" to run the country? I don't buy that Hitler was dumb, either. Begin with the evidence: Trump dominates all the headlines every day, and has his fingers into absolutely everything. You don't do this by accident. People mistake his peculiar, hollow genius at their continuing peril. He's clearly now in a Great Man of History fantasy, so becomes more dangerous.

He’s not Vito Genovese. He’s Vinny “The Chin” Gigante.

Not only does he have is own private mob he has our public military. Perhaps that is what Iran is all about - he's playing with this new toy to see how he a use it for his own benefit and break it for anyone else.

What is described here is what Machiavelli figured out 500-years ago, and wrote about in his book, The Prince. That ruthless stupid people run the world.

Trump vowed to clear the Swamp. 18 months in and progress is evident.

I don’t know how you’re able to keep this pace of amazing writing, but I am glad to be able to read and share it!

Deviousness is a kind of intelligence and it's one of the most difficult for the rest of us to understand and comprehend.

I don't think we need to bend the definition of intelligence to accommodate Trump; he is stupid, but stupid doesn't mean talentless.

Being a conman doesn't require intelligence, but it does require moral deficiency that most people don't suffer from.

Trump's "talent" is mostly in having no principles, and no allegiances. But if we're dead set on giving him credit, he knows how to butter up a mark. That isn't completely without "skill." Beyond that he is a self-interested, morally bankrupt used car salesman that happened to be born with a real estate fortune.

Donald Trump harnessed the vast power of this country's racism. He promised racists, bigots, and misogynists that he would harm the people they hate if they put him in power. Trump is a symptom of what's wrong with America.
