👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Bravo! First real story I have read ever! (and plan to share) I’m sick and tired of media betraying the opposite of what’s happening. Those of us who can’t write as eloquent as you, must share. Thank you for your hard work.
Powerful piece. Double standards is shocking but not surprising. Is there such a thing as a free press in America now? I am in Ireland and try to keep up with issues over there as much as I can. I thought papers like the Boston Globe, New York Times and Washington Post were renowned for their unbiased reporting? 🤔
Spot on. I worry about the immigrants who came looking for a better life. The ones who brought their families and have worked their butts off for the American Dream. That has now turned into a nightmare. I worry about Ceaser, the man who fixed my floor, who came from Peru for a better life. Such a nice man. I do not worry about these little white boys with issues who decide to kill people. I'm so tired of the violence that they thrive on. It needs to stop and they need to be treated like the criminals they are.
Tbh I think the current administration's narrative is likely to lead to an increase in this kind of thing. It kind of legitimises aggressive action against immigrants, blacks, leftists, muslims, teachers, educators, women, judges upholding the law or anyone else that any white nationalist or similar believes needs to be brought down. Most probably won't engage in mass shootings, but there are enough who might believe the narrative vindicates even actions like this. In such a climate, the media coverage is beyond irresponsible. It may be a contributing factor to future incidents.
Old white lady here cheering you on👏🏼 Thank you. You are spot on. And brave. And doing the good work. We are, at this moment, returning from a large protest march in the major US city that is home. It’s our turn as whites to protest and protest loudly. For ALL OF US! And we did. For many blocks around the city. We’ll keep doing it. This has to change.
Thank you! 100% this.
You are most welcome, friend.

You fucking nailed it with this! Too bad the people who need to read it never will.
