Yeah, a few typos. It's been a minute since I read A Tale of Two Cities. Very lyrical.

My Spanish is not what it once was, so thank you, Google Translate, which might be a barrier to some. The beginning didn't seem to set the tone I expected. Will read it again for a more cogent reply

I grew up in Daytona Beach in the 1950s and 60s. I had a friend in 1964 who lived in the chauffeur's apartment over the garage of Juan Batista's mini-mansion, his vacation home, in Daytona Beach and I stayed there with him. I'm giving this backstory to prove that I knew about what was going on in Cuba and Florida during those times.

I'm glad to see that someone else writes about Batista the way I remember him.

Every time I read something bewailing the Revolution, I think that they didn't know what Cuba was like before Castro.
